Titus 2:11-14
Jesus Christ is seen as a cute little baby in a crab, should we do so? He is rather a male child who overcomes the enemy (Revelation 12:1-5). He is the grace that appeared for all (Titus 2:11). The Cretans didn't deserve it, and none of us today deserves. But this grace in Jesus is for all people. Grace is training us to renounce, to live and to wait (cf. Matt. 25). Without Christ, humanity is constantly on the way to self-destruction. The greatest judgment is giving us what we really want in our wicked hearts. We are redeemed from ourselves ("sound doctrine"); We are redeemed for a purpose ("good works"), according Titus 2:14. Understanding the truth / Sound Doctrine, will lead to godliness / right and honorable living / good deeds / fruitful lives. Saving souls to send them to heaven is an incomplete Gospel. We are redeemed for good works – to reflect his nature and character to the world. Let’s invite the Holy Spirit to do His cleansing and renewing work in us, as we are entering this Christmas season! Come join us at our English service of the International Church in Yangon! Comments are closed.
