Series of "The Call to Undivided Intimacy"
“God’s will for his redeemed people”
(Jeremiah 31:33; 2 Corinthians 3:3-4, 6)
Through the Ten Commandments, God is calling us to the undivided intimacy with him, and that relationship is reflected in all kinds of other relationships in our everyday lives.
The law shows us that there are lines which if we cross, we will lose our freedom, and become slaves to something else. We will begin to worship or follow or love something else rather than God himself.
His will is written with the Spirit of God on our hearts. The Holy Spirit makes us competent, sufficient, able, capable of that.
For Lifenet groups and Personal reflection
1) What would our society be like, if no one honor God or respect His Word at all? How would your life be like, if no one cares about your dignity?
2) Share an example of using God or others as their tools.
3) Jesus loved his neighbors, enemy and friends. Talk about how he did each case. Which one are you most amazed at? Why?
4) Read 2 Corinthians 3:3-4, 6. What does God speak to you? What is his promise? What does he want you to be? What is your response? What is holding you back, if any?
