Justice – getting what you deserve
Mercy – not getting what you deserve Grace – getting what you don't deserve God is the God of justice (Genesis: 18:25; Deuteronomy 32:4; Jeremiah 9:24). Faces of injustice are all around us (Ecclesiastes 3:16-17). At the cross Jesus suffered much injustice for us (1 Peter 2:22-23). Why does the God of justice allow so much injustice? > Because sin has the reign over humanity (Malachi 2:17-18). > God will judge all one day (Psalm 9:7-8; Acts 17:31). We are to live as Jesus with skin on in real life. > Act justly, Love mercy, and walk humbly with your God (Micah 6:8). > Account before the judgment seat of Christ one day for whatever done while in the body, whether good or bad (2 Corinthians 5:10). Today, Jesus is our example, Savior, Advocate and High Priest. One day, Jesus will be our Judge – who will pardon and sanctify His own but will condemn those who rejected him. For those in Christ there is no more condemnation (Romans 8:1-2). Come join us at our English service of the International Church in Yangon! Comments are closed.
