John 20:24-29
Peter, when he started doubting as he was walking on water, received the Lord's rebuke: "You of little faith, why did you doubt?" Thomas, when he met the risen Lord face to face, cleared off his doubt and addressed Jesus as "My Lord and My God." There are many Biblical examples of doubt(s) since Adam and Eve who doubted that God would ever desire the best for them. Some of the doubts led the people (who doubted) to God, while other doubts the people to sin. E.g., David had both kinds of doubt at different times. What about us? Do we doubt …
1) Doubt that LED to sin – choosing to do things OUR own ways (like Judas). 2) Doubt that LED to God – choosing to come to Jesus (like Joshua after Ai, Mary at the Tomb, Thomas and Peter). 3) What can we do with/about our doubt(s)?
