“As a Holy Temple” (Eph. 2:19-22)
Consequently, we are members of God's household, no longer foreigners and aliens. We used to be aliens, but now we are members of God’s family. We are now citizens of God’s kingdom. We are added into God’s family as its official members. The community of God’s family is joined together with Christ’s love and peace. This is the reality of God’s kingdom. Church is realizing the fullness of God and testifying it in the world (Eph. 1:23). This is what it means to be placed in this world as a holy temple. It cannot be invented by human effort. It is constructed by God, connected by Christ, and completed by the Holy Spirit. Read more… For LifeNet groups and personal reflection: 1) The fullness of God is illustrated in a building.
