A theophany is a coming or arriving of God. In 1 year, light travels 9.5 Trillion km (or 5 trillion miles). He is so angry because He is so holy! 7 Observations about the holiness of God: 1. His holiness is revealed in His WORKS: (Ps 145:17-21) 5. His Holiness is exposed in His separation from Sin (1 Cor 6:9-10). 6. God's holiness is best demonstrated at the Cross. 7. Why is Prayer so important? Prayer is our secret weapon in our war against the temptations, worldly vanity (mammon) and Satan. Verse 1: 1) We ought to pray and 2) Not lose heart. Therefore, "let us not grow weary while doing good, for in due season we shall reap if we do not lose heart." (Galatians 6:9) Verse 2-8: 3) God is a just judge. 4) There is an immeasurable gulf between God and us. 5) Persistence in prayer prevails upon God for an answer.
