1.Walk in love to the goal 2.Christ’s love for the church 3.The lost submission 4.Restoration of submission The submission of the bride. It can be done because she is loved. Through various experiences, the submission was lost. The Lord is inviting us into his love and restore the submission of the bride. The Lord himself will cleanse us with his word, and make us holy, blameless and radiant church, without stains, wrinkles and any other blemish Read more... For Lifenet groups and personal reflection: 1) List up the love of Christ which you have felt in your spouse or family members. How does this list encourage you? 2) The love of Christ for church is the model for husbands to love their wives. How can we apply this into other relationships? Practice one of the applications each day this week. 3) You may ask the Holy Spirit to show what negative legacy from your parents you have inherited. Take time to listen to him and list them up. Ask the Spirit to wash and cleanse your soul with his word. NLIF is an international church in Yangon. Come and join our English Sunday worship service. Exodus 3:13-15; Psalm 9:10; Philippians 2:9-11
Elohim as Creator (Gen. 1:1), means "mighty one" (a plural noun followed by a singular verb). The word is also used for false gods. El-Shaddai means "God Almighty (Ex. 6:3; Gen. 17:1), also the all-sufficient one (Phil. 4:19). I AM (Ex. 3:4-5, 13-15) is the Hebrew 'Ehyeh' (to be); hence, 'Adonai' and YHWH are derived. Significance of YHWH: > God exists. > No reality exists behind/beyond God. > God does NOT change (Malachi 3:6). > God is amazing, everlasting, almighty Creator (Isaiah 40:28). > Objectivity is crucial. > It draws near to us in Jesus Christ (as the Lord, YaHWeH). ABBA, only found in the New Testament (Gal. 4:6), has a sense of intimate personal relationship. Come join us at our English service of the International Church in Yangon! Justice – getting what you deserve
Mercy – not getting what you deserve Grace – getting what you don't deserve God is the God of justice (Genesis: 18:25; Deuteronomy 32:4; Jeremiah 9:24). Faces of injustice are all around us (Ecclesiastes 3:16-17). At the cross Jesus suffered much injustice for us (1 Peter 2:22-23). Why does the God of justice allow so much injustice? > Because sin has the reign over humanity (Malachi 2:17-18). > God will judge all one day (Psalm 9:7-8; Acts 17:31). We are to live as Jesus with skin on in real life. > Act justly, Love mercy, and walk humbly with your God (Micah 6:8). > Account before the judgment seat of Christ one day for whatever done while in the body, whether good or bad (2 Corinthians 5:10). Today, Jesus is our example, Savior, Advocate and High Priest. One day, Jesus will be our Judge – who will pardon and sanctify His own but will condemn those who rejected him. For those in Christ there is no more condemnation (Romans 8:1-2). Come join us at our English service of the International Church in Yangon! |
