“Freedom from slavery" is a four-time lesson studying Exodus.
People of Israel were originally the family of a ruler of Egypt, but they became slaves. They needed to be set free not only from the state of slavery, but also from the slave mentality. It doesn’t happen automatically when they get out of Egypt. God led the people of Israel through the journey to “Freedom from slavery.” What about Christians who are members of God’s family? Can we also become slaves as time passes? What kind of slavery are Christians prone to fall into? And how God leads us to freedom? (Click the title, the sermon note will open. ) 1- “God’s people became slaves” (Exodus 1:9-11) 2- “From Slavery to Grace” (Exodus 10:1-2) 3- “Walking with God in His greatness” (Exodus 14:22) 4- “Freedom for God’s glory” (Exodus 33:14) |
The Lord said, "I have indeed seen the misery of my people in Egypt. I have heard them crying out because of their slave drivers, and I am concerned about their suffering.
So I will stretch out my hand and strike the Egyptians with all the wonders that I will perform among them. After that, he will let you go." (Exodus 3:7, 20)
